Walking down the road
I meet familiar people
I’m with my father
He doesn’t look like him at all
Suddenly I’m in a house I’ve never been before
Some men start going after us, they’re chasing us
RUN my darling, RUN as fast as you can
If they catch us, they’re going to kill us both
STOP! Running
STOP! You’ll die anyway
I mutely scream. Nobody can hear
Lying on a lea. A bull’s eye in tears
Riding an airplane. My mother’s insane.
Go back to sleep
Playgrounds have always looked so big
When I was just a kid
What am I still running from?
Places and faces look darker
My heart beats as fast as it can
RUN my darling, RUN as fast as you can
If they catch you, you will be caught dead
STOP! Running
STOP! You’ll die anyway
I mutely scream. Nobody can hear
Lying on a lea. A bull’s eye in tears
Riding an airplane. My mother’s insane.
Now I’m free. I’m falling from a balcony
Cauldrons
Spitting fire
I opened my eyes for the first time
Seconds like hours
My voice has no power
I’m falling from… my bed
This album just slaps! And, for the record, I have never used the term "slaps" before. I am not some person who says that every album slaps, when in fact, they sometimes do not. No. I was waiting until this very moment, for an album this good to try out the term for my self and I stand behind it.
It slaps, my friends, it slaps. SteveSmells

“Tulips,” the latest album from Maston, is a work of beautiful psychedelia, blending lounge beats with burbling organs & guitars. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 30, 2017
They may be named for a “Twin Peaks” villain, but there’s nothing menacing about Wyndham Earl’s rich and stirring psych soundscapes. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 15, 2020
